this EP is so innovative and cool, the blending of classical melodies and songwriting is insane. which makes since since one of the guitarists is a jazz guitarist and the other is a classically trained guitarist so they said fuck it i wanna go heavy and god lawddd they know how to write great heavy music. never heard anything like this before with how they blend the classical and the thall so seamlessly. also the last song translates to nightmare which is very very fitting for the atmosphere that song gives

It's epic❤ I get this "proud father" feeling of them since I'm Norwegian. Hestehov means coltsfoot. They are heavily inspired by classical pieces

the thing is with this is that this is FUCKING INSANE. but god forbid i listen to it on the daily i'd lose all knowledge of what metal should even be. they'd have no competition to any other band 🤣🤣🤣

Crazy how simple tones can express the soul far beyond what words could ever achieve.

I like the way you review songs. I always do the same thing too with the, "this part sounds a little like parts of this song or band." I just listened to the whole new Wage War album and I was on here looking for people reviewing it. So far everyone has been saying similar things and nothing of much substance. Yours was the only one I liked so far, so thank you for that. Definitely got a new subscriber now😁

After listening to this album i checked out their instagram and the amount of comments shitting on this album was insane, i didnt think this album was bad but i haven't heard their other albums, maybe it's in comparison to the rest of their discography kinda like architects last album? but i wouldnt call this a bad album by any means, especially blur and the last track, the rest was a bit generic and they took a lot of melodies from other songs, but i thoight the production and everything sounded incredible! I'll be checking out some other stuff by then soon to learn more :)

Jacob, the new foreign hands debut album is amazing. Felt very early metalcore/boundaries/counterparts, you would absolutely love it

The band has 2 vocalists, Cody is the main (higher pitched) singer. Britton is the screamer and the deeper voice singer. Cody is so talented, he does a lot of production with big name bands as well, plenty of falling in reverse breakdowns etc…

As much as I love northlane’s heavy vocals, I really like that this song has another voice. The verse is such a banger too. On the track it’s Winston and in the previous tour they had the heavy vocalist from Erra filling in. Kinda disappointed I won’t see that this tour

Wage war’s whole discography before this album is amazing, hope you check out more! Their debut album “blueprints” is probably my favorite though

you should listen to their manic album

Octane Core at its peak. Over-produced, generic, boring, and at time a bit corny. I’ve been a fan for a long time and these guys have so much talent, so this record seems like such a huge letdown.

Its just bad man

Personally, their generic sound plus overly repeated use of breakdowns and choruses really made me not enjoy this album as much as I wanted to.
